Do you want to change the world?

At Endeavor Schools, we are passionate about unleashing potential so the students we serve thrive. With over 100 high-quality early childhood education schools across 14 states, and growing, we are on an ambitious path to double our impact through strategic acquisitions and organic growth.

Our majority owner is TSG Consumer Partners, a global leader in consumer-focused investing with approximately $14bn of assets under management and a 35+ year track record of building iconic brands

As we expand our footprint, Endeavor Schools has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to join our Corporate Development Team. We’re looking for a high-EQ, results-oriented individual, who will play a key role in identifying, sourcing, and helping acquire early childhood education businesses (primarily preschools) across the United States. The ideal candidate is an experienced dealmaker who thrives on relationship-building and has a proven track record of sourcing and closing small business acquisitions.

This role combines strategy, financial acumen, and strong interpersonal skills, working closely with the Chief Development Officer and cross-functional teams to help us become the buyer of choice in the early childhood education sector. This role requires travel up to 50% of the time.

Essential Tasks:

  • Deal Sourcing & Outreach: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with preschool owners who may be interested in selling their businesses.  Activate and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries/brokers.
  • Relationship Management: Build trust and rapport with prospective sellers, acting as a consultative and empathetic point of contact throughout the transaction journey.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and track a robust acquisition pipeline, using CRM tools to organize outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Financial Analysis: Work with the Corporate Development and Finance teams to conduct/support preliminary financial assessments and support deal underwriting.
  • Market Research: Identify target geographies and evaluate market dynamics, demographic trends, demand/supply variables, competitor activity, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Academics, HR, Marketing, Facilities, Legal) to support due diligence and deal execution.
  • Representation: Attend industry events and conferences to promote Endeavor Schools as the acquirer of choice.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, M&A, or private equity, ideally with a focus on single and/or multi-unit small business acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and closing deals independently.
  • Strong financial acumen; ability to read and interpret P&Ls and perform basic financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the energy, curiosity, and drive to help build and scale a growing team.
  • Experience in Education, Healthcare, or other multi-site service businesses is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, PipeDrive) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
