Endeavor Schools has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director! This position will work under the direction of and in partnership with the Regional Director to provide general management oversight of our network of schools.  The Executive Director ensures each school achieves financial objectives, delivers Endeavor’s curriculum and educational programs, and simultaneously meets the needs of all constituents: licensing, students, families, management, and stakeholders.  The Executive Director will be expected to be on-site at schools 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home. The ideal candidate will be located in Southern California, preferably in the Orange County area.  

Essential Tasks

Under the guidance and direction of the Regional Director, the Executive Director will:

• Meet enrollment objectives and established metrics for school performance by planning and executing student retention and enrollment activities.
• Manage against the approved budget and provide accurate financial, operational, and academic reporting and analysis to Endeavor Schools.
• Build effective school leadership teams and build relationships with peers.
• Collaborate with the Endeavor Academics department.
• Provide ongoing leadership development of School Leaders by consistently coaching and giving feedback.
• Build and sustain a positive, collaborative culture by focusing on staff recognition and consistent communications.
• Provide appropriate staff development and in-service as needed in conjunction with both the Academic and Operations Departments.
• Retain high-quality staff by providing clear expectations and acknowledging individual contributions.
• Collaborate with Endeavor’s Marketing team to build an effective marketing program to generate and retain enrollment.
• Ensure schools are timely answering family inquiries.
• Capitalize on local opportunities to establish a positive presence in the community.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education is preferred.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the field of education serving a student population and school community of comparable scope.
• A minimum of five years of managerial experience with strong performance results, preferably in a school environment.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
• Proven leadership ability, including the ability to coach and develop staff.
• Experience with revenue generation, budgets, and financial accountability.
• Proficiency with technology and software applications, including the current version of MS Office.
• Exhibits interpersonal skills for creating productive working relationships with various stakeholders, including families, teachers, other staff, and the local community.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict in the workplace and school setting by effectively applying conflict resolution strategies and confronting issues as they arise.
• Remain accessible and responsive to families, students, and staff.

Salary Range: 100,000 to 105,000 annually.
