Cranium Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Music and Dance Coach to lead beginner-level enrichment classes for elementary and middle school students.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for music, dance, and working with children. Advanced education or professional training in music or dance is not required. We are looking for someone who is energetic, creative, dependable, and comfortable introducing students to basic music, movement, rhythm, and dance.

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Beginner-level enrichment classes
• Advanced music or dance education is not required
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Great opportunity for college students interested in music, dance, education, or child development

Are You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us. The most important quality is that you love working with children.  Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 45 DCF Hours
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred
• 1-3 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members, is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
